Please remove and refrain from sending items such as chargers, bands (including Apple Watch bands), styluses, memory cards, manuals, battery covers, etc., as these are not required for the service and may get misplaced. We take no responsibility for these items and will not replace them if lost. Removing unnecessary items results in cheaper freight costs and reduce the likelihood of any items going missing during transit.

Postal Repair Terms and Conditions


These terms and conditions govern the repair services provided by Innerbit Pty Ltd ("Innerbit") for devices sent via post. By sending your device to Innerbit, you agree to the following terms:




  1. Quotation and Acceptance

    Prior to sending your device, please contact us for a free repair quotation. By sending your device to Innerbit, you agree to proceed with the repair based on the provided quotation. If you choose not to proceed after accepting the quote, a rejection fee of $45 will apply. This fee must be paid in full before your device will be returned to you.


  2. Transit Delays

    Innerbit shall not be liable for any delays in transit caused by Australia Post or any other third-party shipping partner. Once your package leaves our service center, any transit delays are beyond our control.


  3. Use of Provided Shipping Label

    Please use only the shipping label provided by Innerbit when sending your device for repair. Using any other shipping label may result in delays or additional charges, for which Innerbit is not liable.


  4. Water Resistance

    You acknowledge that water resistance in electronic devices is not permanent and may degrade over time. During repair, Innerbit replaces seals or gaskets that contribute to water resistance. However, we cannot guarantee the device's full water resistance post-repair as testing for this is impractical. It is strongly advised not to use the device in water or subject it to submersion. Please note that damage caused by water will not be covered under warranty.


  5. Data Backup

    It is your responsibility to back up all data stored on your device before sending it for repair. Innerbit is not liable for any loss of data during the repair process.


  6. Accessories

    You agree to send only accessories and items directly relevant to the repair of your device. Chargers, bands (including Apple Watch bands), styluses, memory cards, manuals, battery covers, etc., are unnecessary unless they are deemed faulty and directly related to the repair. Innerbit assumes no responsibility for any missing items that are not directly related to the repair.


  7. Warranty

    Innerbit provides a warranty of 5 years on parts replaced or repaired, including associated labor charges, unless otherwise stipulated due to signs of liquid ingress, physical damage, or a damaged warranty seal label. Batteries are covered under a 2-year warranty, as they are consumable products not designed to last 5 years. Repairs related to liquid damage are not covered under warranty.


  8. Payment

    Payment for repair services must be made in full before your device is shipped back to you. Once the repair is complete, our team will contact you to provide further instructions. An invoice with a secure link for online payment will be provided. We accept payment via credit card, PayPal, or bank transfer.


  9. Unpaid Services

    If repair fees remain unpaid and we are unable to contact you for a period of six (6) months from the completion of the repair, Innerbit reserves the right to dispose of the device in accordance with the Disposal of Uncollected Goods Act 1967.
